Knicks Sign Moses Brown to Two-Way Contract

NEW YORK, March 8, 2023 – The New York Knicks announced today that the team has signed center Moses Brown to a two-way contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Brown, 7-2, 245-pounds, was waived by the Los Angeles Clippers on February 17, after averaging 4.6 points and 4.1 rebounds over 8.5 minutes in 34 games (one start) as a two-way player.

Brown holds career averages of 5.6 points and 5.3 rebounds in 126 games (39 starts) over four seasons with Portland (2019-20), Oklahoma City (2020-21), Dallas (2021-22), Cleveland (2021-22) and Los Angeles Clippers (2022-23). He also spent time in the G League with the Texas, Oklahoma City and Ontario, posting career averages of 15.5 points and 9.9 rebounds over 21.8 minutes in 49 games (18 starts). In 2020-21, he was named to the All-NBA G League First Team and the NBA G League All-Defensive Team. 

The New York, NY-native went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft following his freshman season at UCLA where he earned Pac-12 All-Freshman Team honors. He finished the season with 9.7 points, a team-leading 8.3 rebounds and 1.94 blocks (fourth best in Pac-12).
